Abdulla Tarabishy

Abdulla graduated with a Masters of Public Policy from the Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan, with a concentration in analysis methods. As a Margaret Ann and John E. Riecker Fellow, he focused on the intersection of economics, technology, and quantitative methods. He also served as a graduate student instructor, helping students to understand and develop different ethical perspectives and trade-offs in policy. During that time, he worked for FinRegLab, where he studied the impact of emerging technologies such as generative AI and machine learning algorithms on financial inclusion. Previously, Abdulla taught English to refugees in Turkey and worked as a political analyst with the Syrian Association for Citizens’ Dignity, a non-profit that advocates for the rights of Syrian refugees.
He holds an MPP from the University of Michigan, and a BA in Political Science from Wayne State University.
